To streamline operations to better serve Tacoma residents, TacomaFirst service center and its 3-1-1 link will be the primary reporting tools for residents with code concerns
The Community Policing Division of Tacoma Police is responsible for coordinating proactive policing of the City in partnership with the community.
Community Liaison Officers (CLOs) provide specialized service to citizens and business, serving as a focal point for community concerns in each sector. These contacts should not be used in the case of crime or emergency (911 should be called). If you have issues or concerns with the quality of life in your neighborhood such as minor vandalism or other nuisances, contact your CLO or report an issue.
As the policy-making body of the City, the City Council serves as the link between the residents of Tacoma and their municipal government. Contact your councilperson with questions or comments about: enacting and emending City laws, the Biennial Budget, citizen boards, committees, and commissions.
