NNO—National Night Out

National Night Out Events are held all over Pierce County. Check to see if one is being organized near you. If not, it’s easy to set up one of your own.

What activities should I have at my National Night Out Event?

Whatever you and community want! What matters most is that you and your neighbors are spending time together in a positive way.

Common activities include potluck dinner, barbecue cookout, talent show, backyard games, and music.

Community Organizations that you have requested to attend will come by as staffing and other obligations allow. They often bring informational or promotional materials and will be there to interact with you for as long as they are able to stay.

On the registration form you will be asked for details about your event: Location, time, how many people you plan on attending, and what activities you expect to have. Do not worry about having a definitive plan or confirmed attendance; approximate plans are perfectly fine.

You will be asked to provide contact info so Safe Streets can send you information to help your planning. No personal information is ever shared with anyone outside of Safe Streets.
