This month, we would like to acknowledge Melanie Dressel, CEO of Columbia Bank, as a valued Safe Streets community partner. Not only is Melanie a member of our Safe Streets President’s Circle, but our partnership with Columbia Bank stretches all the way back to 2010.

Melanie is a native Washingtonian, having grown up in Colville, WA and attended the University of Washington. Melanie was appointed CEO of Columbia Bank in January 2003 and sits on a number of different boards in the South Sound. Melanie is passionate about Tacoma and committed to doing her part to attract people and businesses to our area.

Melanie became involved with Safe Streets, because as a business leader, she wanted to do her part to keep Tacoma free of crime and to create a close knit community where people could live and work, without fear.

So, thank you Melanie, we couldn’t do everything we do without people like you supporting us!
